BEIJING， Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- China's meteorological authority on Sunday issued a yellow alert for high temperatures， urging people to reduce outdoor activity.


On Monday， temperatures will exceed 35 degrees Celsius in Anhui， Chongqing， Gansu， Henan， Jiangsu， Shaanxi， Xinjiang and Zhejiang， the National Meteorological Center announced.
